Natalie Haas is a cellist whose long collaboration with Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser — beginning when she was a teenager — redefined what a cello can do inside folk and Celtic music. She’s a longtime Berklee faculty member and an alum of Crooked Still.
Brittany’s sister. Her low end gives an ensemble its gravity, and her presence in a tracking room turns a string section into a body of sound that doesn’t need direction.
