Allison de Groot is a clawhammer banjo player from Winnipeg and a 2024 Steve Martin Banjo Prize winner (shared with Tray Wellington). With fiddler Tatiana Hargreaves she records for Free Dirt Records; their 2022 album Hurricane Clarice earned a Juno nomination for Traditional Roots Album of the Year and two Canadian Folk Music Awards. She was a 2023 Americana Music Association nominee for Instrumentalist of the Year.

She played banjo on Fifty Years of Clown School.
